"Some of you may not know who I is, but I'm with you, baby! I'm with you," Hound Dog Taylor once told a crowd of sweaty cheering fans, almost all of whom did know who he was, on a great live EP I taped off Donnie Thiry back when we were in high school. Donnie and I co-wrote an ode to the Ramones and going out in style called "Dyin' Ain't Loofy" when it looked like I was dying in 2006. That song was the title track of an album I released in 2007. These days, I've got my health back and I'm still making music when I can find the time. I also write fiction and essays on pop culture whenever I can find someone willing to let me have some space to say whatever I feel like on anything I happen to want to write about. Right now, that' space is a column called "Cash Rules Everything Around Me" in the online mag Gloom Cupboard edited by the UK's Rich Wink aka the Connossieur of Boredom.
And if you stumbled onto this page, I'm assuming you already know I'm with you and most of you know who I is.
