Quote of the day: "Even people without talent should live life for all they're worth." - Takeshi Kitano
"Some of you may not know who I is, but I'm with you, baby! I'm with you," Hound Dog Taylor once told a crowd of sweaty cheering fans, most of whom did know him, on a very fab live EP that Don "Tiny" Thiry introduced me to back in high school. Thiry was not tiny, btw. Thiry and I co-wrote an ode to the Ramones and going out in style called "Dyin' Ain't Loofy" when it looked like I was dying in 2006. That song is the title track of an album I released in 2007. These days, I'm as healthy as you (assuming you are, in fact, healthy) and I'm still making music when motherfuckers pay me to do it. I also write fiction and essays on pop culture when I can find someone willing to let me have some space to say whatever I feel like saying on whatever I want to write about. Currently, I write a column called "Cash Rules Everything Around Me" for Gloom Cupboard, i'm the Movie Reviewer Guy for LA Snark and the Film and Music Editor for Slurve Magazine.
And if you stumbled onto this page, I'm assuming you already know I'm with you and most of you know who I is.
